SPORTS ON AIR started as a weekly radio talk-show that focuses on news and features related to general sporting events and active lifestyle. The show aired every Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. over Eagle Broadcasting Corporation’s Radyo Agila AM radio arm, which is simultaneously broadcasted in Mega Manila and in provincial stations nationwide.

In its 4 years on radio, Sports On Air has featured and interviewed athletes and personalities from multiple sporting disciplines and have covered numerous top-notch local and international events, including the National Basketball Association, Philippine Basketball Association, National Collegiate Athletic Association, University Athletic Association of the Philippines, ONE Championship, and the International Premier Tennis League to name a few.

Among the luminaries that we have interviewed on our show include basketball legends Allen Iverson and Stephon Marbury, billiards luminaries Rubilen Amit, and Iris Ranola, mixed martial arts stars Dan Severn, Brandon Vera, Rich Franklin, and Eduard Folayang, boxing icons Donnie Nietes and Ana Julaton, and Philippine Olympians Eric Buhain, Ian Lariba, and Michael Martinez.

SPORTS ON AIR has been nominated for a Golden Dove Award for the best radio program in 2015
