LOS ANGELES — The Orlando Magic will face the New York Knicks on Thursday without their 6-foot-10 gem and the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft.

Team coaches have decided to give Paolo Banchero the rest of the Summer League off.

He averaged 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists in just two games, displaying his skill and confirming his worth to the Magic.

Banchero would rather keep playing but he listened to his coaches.

“I was happy with how I played. They were happy with how I played. They were just comfortable with doing that; I wasn’t going to give them any push back” Banchero said, per ESPN.
