Mur Alao to finally debut for DLSU

Mur Prince Alao will finally make his much-awaited debut for the EcoOil-De La Salle University in the 2022 PBA D-League Aspirants Cup.

The 18-year-old do-it-all guard did not suit up in the Green Archers’ first two matches due to some requirements needed to be passed.

La Salle won its opener against Builders Warehouse-University of Santo Tomas by 30, 112-82, before bowing to Marinerong Pilipino, 84-64.

But it’s all green light now for the former San Beda Red Cub on Friday when La Salle squares off against Centro Escolar University at 9 am at the Ynares Center in Antipolo, Rizal.

Welcome is the addition of Alao in the Green Archers roster, only having Penny Estacio as their true point guard.

Alao is a 6-foot-1 guard who can handle the ball well and orchestrate the offense. But when needed, he can also take matters to his own hands and find scoring opportunities for himself.

Up next for Alao and La Salle after the Scorpions is Apex Fuel-San Sebastian on July 21, 12:30 pm, at the Big Dome.
