Duathlon: Thai quartet claimed gold in mixed relay

December 5, 2019 – Thailand adds another gold medal in its tally after their mixed duathlon team wins the relay event at Subic Bay in Zambales.


Pareeya Sonsem, Nattawut Srinate, Siriwan Kuncharin and Arthit Soda delivers the first place finish for Thailand.


The quartet finished the relay in one minute and 28 seconds, putting them two seconds ahead of their nearest competitor.


Singapore came in at second place as Emma Ada Middleton, Ahmad Arif Ibrahim, Herlene Natasha Yu, and Nicholas Rachmadi finished the race in one minute and 30 seconds.


Host Philippines get the last bronze medal available in duathlon finishing one second behind the Singaporeans.


Both the Thai and Philippine teams garnered a total of three medals in the sport, getting a medal of each color.
