CLEVELAND -- What cold?

The frigid, wintry February weather in Cleveland thawed in the heat of the NBA's annual All-Star Weekend, which kickes off on Friday at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, home of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Among the festivities that took place included the Rising Stars Challenge, which showcased the league's top 48 rookies and sophomores led by top pick Cade Cunnigham and Evan Mobley of the Cavs.

This year's edition was turned into a mini-tournament where two semifinals games that targeted a winning score of 50 were played. The two winning teams them met in the finals where the targeted score was 25.
